[20:19:21] <sh4rm4> everytime i play SI, i get to a dead point
[20:19:28] <sh4rm4> and that is the dreamland
[20:19:50] <sh4rm4> it's just on scripted plot interruption too much
[20:19:53] <sh4rm4> *one
[20:20:01] <Epitrope> do you have the three artifacts?
[20:20:18] <sh4rm4> well the point is that i finally want to move freely on the map
[20:20:37] <sh4rm4> but no, yet another plot scene that locks me in
[20:21:12] <sh4rm4> in BG, you can explore the entire map right from the beginning (as soon as you're out of trinsic)
[20:21:54] <sh4rm4> in SI, you're always locked to a certain subregion
[22:16:46] <Dominus> sh4rm4: in SI you never get to move entirely freely...
[22:17:43] <sh4rm4> yeah, and that's kinda frustrating
[22:18:13] <sh4rm4> for example you need to follow plots through half the game until you finally can cast spells
[22:18:41] <Dominus> yes, and that's the beauty of the game
[22:19:34] <Dominus> you don't get to stumble all over the map setting off things that shouldn't yet be set off or getting to know plot elements that just don't make sense yet
[22:24:56] <sh4rm4> yeah, and that makes it more like max paine instead of gta, if you know what i mean
[22:26:54] <Dominus> yeah, something with a plot versus something with a so called plot... :)
[22:27:30] <sh4rm4> right, in gta and bg the plot is a bonus
[22:28:05] <sh4rm4> it helps you get things like money and weapons faster or a mission to solved if you're bored
