[17:23:46] <Marzo> @Dominus: got an initial version of lighting
[17:24:39] <Marzo> May need to make sure it builds on xcode

[18:25:16] <Dominus> on it...
[18:26:23] <Dominus> ah, yes, will need to add ligthinf.x
[18:26:41] <Dominus> actually you did...
[18:34:18] <Dominus> Marzo: looking good
[18:34:51] <Marzo> I had added it using a python tool, but had no way to know if it would actually work
[18:35:00] <Dominus> only played in the ios simulator but the lighting is alsready better :)
[18:35:39] <Marzo> I added some lighting data for things that made sense to be brighter
[18:36:09] <Marzo> For example, the large fire braziers in SI only have candle light strength in the original
[18:36:31] <Marzo> Despite being a large pillar of fire on top of a large cauldron
[18:36:47] <Dominus> yes, some things were ridicuolous
[18:37:10] <Dominus> don't remember exactly but when I played around in the original some was not making sense
[18:38:04] <Marzo> If you notice any others, let me know and I will add them in
[18:39:51] <Dominus> I will. I need to play some SI because a user on the forum has a problem with Lucille's sex scene. Lucille will stop after saying "my love" and remains in "waiting" schedule and the scene aborts. Nut not in my old savegame, only in his newer one. So I need to see if it happens for me, too
[19:26:30] <Dominus> Marzo, what do you think of this patch? https://pastebin.com/M0Wbgs38 it's an updated version of the patch submitted at https://sourceforge.net/p/exult/patches/110/ so at least for walking the mousepointer is grabbed in a windowed Exult. I can reproduce his problem but it seems it isn't as severe here on macOS
[19:48:00] <Marzo> ight be worth extending it to other cases of input
[19:48:28] <Marzo> To be fair, I am planning a rework of input that will simplify things a lot
[19:48:45] <Marzo> Because we have huge input functions with lots of duplicated code everywhere
[19:51:33] <Dominus> :)
[19:58:51] <azeem> vi-style movement would be cool
[20:03:07] * Dominus slaps azeem around with a large trout
[20:07:51] <Dominus> marzo, so I'm adding this and if I can see another input where we could use a mousegrab I have a blueprint for it. And you have a reminder when you rework input :)
[20:08:20] <Dominus> And azeem has his feature request from 19 years ago added in some fashion... :)
