[06:31:25] <Nakar> Hi everyone. I'm not sure if anyone's active in here, but I had a bug/issue/meddling-where-I-oughtn't-have matter, if anyone's around and knowledgable.
[06:33:13] <Nakar> Just throw this out here in case someone sees it later, and I'll stick around tonight: In Serpent Isle in both the last stable release and the last snapshot release, it seems setting stats higher than 30 (like in the original, they can go up to 255) causes problems when you reload a save made when stats are set that high.
[06:34:37] <Nakar> When you reload it seems everybody's set Polymorph-Y and are replaced by tile 0. Turning off Poly flags and making sure stats are within legitimate bounds fixes it, except for the Avatar, who seems to be permanently changed into Petra. Is there any fix for this? NPCs can be fixed just dandy.
[07:05:40] <servus> I remember that in the original, stats could only go to 127.
[07:06:21] <servus> You can un-petra-fy the Avatar by entering cheat mode's menu (f2), edit NPC (Avatar is #0), edit flags, and unset the "Petra" flag.
[07:06:40] <servus> There is a specific and unique flag for being Petra.
[07:18:41] <Nakar> The flag is "N" and toggling or retoggling doesn't do anything.
[07:18:51] <Nakar> I know there's a bug in stock SI where you can become Petra and reset the flag through F2
[07:19:07] <Nakar> That's what perplexes me.
[07:19:24] <Nakar> I'll just restart without messing with things.
