[14:33:59] <SB-X> hello
[15:00:35] <Zerothis> sb: howdy
[15:04:46] <SB-X> when is the blackrock sword supposed to be replenished?
[15:07:08] <Zerothis> when it is used to kill something in the traditional way, hack n stab.
[15:08:24] <Zerothis> I've killed hundreds of both human, monster and food animals. I even left my whole party behind to be sure I was the one doing the killing.
[15:11:00] <SB-X> I don't remember having to recharge it, but it's been a while since I played BG.
[15:14:17] <Zerothis> I was using it alot, I was slaying the 3 pirates in moonglow, resurrecting them, then slaying them again. For about 125 XP each time. After a while the deamon said he couldn't replenish my magic unless I used the sword to kill creatures.
[15:23:17] <SB-X> ah k
[15:23:29] <SB-X> i didn't have to use it that much
[15:27:25] <SB-X> servus: How did you get those UW-PSX screenshots? I just got 404 errors.
[15:32:24] <SB-X> on the uwadv site too
[18:19:52] <servus> SB-X: Search for Ultima Underworld -> Screenshots -> Playstation. http://www.mobygames.com/game/playstation/ultima-underworld-the-stygian-abyss/screenshots
[18:23:51] <SB-X> SB-X: Thank you!
[18:25:57] <SB-X> ah, the infamous map
[18:27:28] <SB-X> why would Lord Britain send you to the abyss?
[18:59:53] <servus> It wasn't Lord British IIRC, it was some baron or another. Remember that Ultima Underworld became an Ultima at the very last second (I think)
[19:11:40] <SB-X> strangely the PC version looks better even though it's pixelated and not completely 3D
[19:12:26] <servus> They both look good in different ways. The PSX version reminds me a lot of Daggerfall's dungeons
[19:13:26] <SB-X> the cutscenes are different too
[19:33:38] <Corvus> err
[19:33:46] <Corvus> can i ask an offtopic c/c++ question ?
[19:34:51] <Baastuul> No! Go away!
[19:34:57] * Baastuul dismisses you with a flick of the hand!
[19:35:03] <Baastuul> I mean, uh, sure. Go right ahead. :)
[19:35:23] * SB-X throws a teacup at Baastuul.
[19:36:54] <Corvus> for example i have this code
[19:36:59] <Corvus> int x = 0;
[19:37:21] <Corvus> printf("%d:%d:%d:%d\n", x++, x++, x++, x++);
[19:37:32] <Corvus> it does print 3:2:1:0
[19:37:35] <servus> Undefined behaviour, and this looks susciously like a quiz.
[19:37:37] <Corvus> i can't figure why
[19:38:16] <servus> It's common for function parameters to be pushed onto the stack "backwards", though, which would explain the sequence point order.
[19:38:54] <Corvus> true, i didn't thought on that...
[19:39:01] <Corvus> scary...
[19:40:15] <Corvus> thank you
[21:19:23] <SB-X> spam!
[21:20:21] <servus> spam!
[21:24:24] <Corvus> pam!s
[21:28:18] <servus> Can't anyone finish this sequence properly? Gosh!
[21:30:41] <SB-X> Ask Shamino about that.
