[20:19:01] Dominus: Marzo: tomorrow I will receive a very rare Serpent Isle box from Portugal which was inknown in collectors' circles. It may actually have a Portugese translation on it as the picture of the box read "edicao portuguesa"
[20:19:21] Marzo: Hm, interesting
[20:19:48] Marzo: I didn't know this one existed
[20:21:58] Dominus: apparently no one knew :)
[20:22:44] Marzo: I wonder if they also made a translation of BG
[20:27:15] Dominus: yeah, let's see if it actually is translated :)
[20:27:30] Dominus: but if it is then there is likely a BG translation as well
[20:29:35] Marzo: Do you have a picture of the box available? I am a bit curios
[20:31:28] Dominus: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/grkk6rtil9c43f7/AACvmKgMniPEdbgBLD6tuwNSa?dl=0
[20:39:28] Marzo: I found some information on the company whose logo is in the cover: https://segaretro.org/Portidata_Software_Interactivo
[20:39:38] Marzo: This makes it seem legit
[20:39:54] Marzo: But still no luck trying to find a catalogue of the time
[21:00:57] Marzo: I found a bit more info on the company, but nothing on the games it published -- except for one it made entirely, called Gambys
[21:06:54] Marzo: Based on what I found, it is likely that no Portuguese version of Black Gate exists, as it seems PortiData made deals with EA, but never with Origin
[21:22:26] Dominus: ah, I have another Origin game from that company , Privateer, but that is sealed so I can't tell if it s portugese
[21:23:10] Dominus: Privateer was also just in the EA era
