Hiya Dale. AgentOrangeGuy and Myself are working on the Exult Ultima 6 mod. Progress is being made and currently we're pushing to get it done hopefully within the next few months.

Book Size in BG
Does anyone out there know if the standard book size of 7-10 pages is hard coded into the game engine? Can it be expanded to a few hundred pages or so? Trying to add an ingame diary regarding a subquest for a mod; but the default 7 pages make it prohibitive to do so.

As far as characters go, I just pull up a random NPC the game already has on file and tried to rename him. But the system wouldnt accept the renaming of any npc I brought up... Actually, I did some more testing on this.. Anyone who Arcadion deems worthy of killing after casting Armageddon will temporarily rise up from Armageddon Sleep and wait for the black sword to slay them, after which the re-slain body vanishes completely..

I just got an interesting result from doing this.. 1.Casting Armageddon 2x in Britain 2.Waking up LB via the Linear awaken spell 3.Fragging him with Arcadion That was fine, but the minute he hit the floor everyone else that was in the castle suddenly awoke... Again, I'm trying to keep things mostly canon. There's where our fundamental differences lie. Most everything save for what we discussed way back in the beginning has a basis in Earth Legends or in the latter case; recent TV Greek Mythology.. Hmm, they did that deal in U9 where you entered the realm of the trapped souls through Horrances 'well of souls'... The results left much to be desired.. But I blame EA for that one.. Sounds like a great idea for a mod; but a point to keep in mind. Remember that anyone who plays it straight without the cheats involved will be dying quite alot.. So the land of the dead will by necessity need to have a default 'quick path back to britannia', Maybe it could be several fixed trigger ...

I was recently clicking on a cow multiple times in Exult and all everyone ever says is Moo... In my UO days of yesteryear if you double clicked on a cow at least 3 times there was a 50/50 shot it would go Mooooooo and promptly tip over...

Well, I reverted to a very early save when they weren't mad at all, but after Tseramed exposed them as frauds; and Papa asked me if I were a bee killer, I said no.. I then had Tseramed leave the party.. When I re-entered the cave and talked to Papa again all I received was the same response... "...
