I agree Colourless... The second underworld... Labrinth of worlds... was my first true 'ultima' experience. It was tied into the storyline much better.

Has no one even mentioned the underworld games? Sure its a different system but it is Ultima.

While not exactly what happened i think it would be a brilliant deception on the evil guys part to disguise some demons as children. What Avatar worth his title wouldn't hesitate... perhaps long enough to lose his life? Personally i would have made it obvious they WERE demons/monsters in disguise AF...

... though UO and FF XI Quessts/missions may have some points... For instance the UO ant quests, they reqiure some work in both RP and combat but reward you, and you can repeat them infinitely. they reward you with something special in addition to gold that you can only get by doing that quest... so...

Well... Have the RP part of it primarily and 'quests' or 'rp situations' determine experience partially(RPs level much faster but monsters do give you some). And have killing things more related to idea of 'Treasure!!!!'.... In RolePlaying you don't kill mosters to earn 'exp' you kill them for GOLD!...

As for the group getting mad at you i partly agree... as least as far as stealing a dead pirates snacks at least(hint hint). As far as RL religion goes i would prefer to stay neutral at the moment... but have any of you noticed this game(Exult/BG) centres around a massive corrupt religion? ...Not only that but also it shows ALL sides of the issue? One farmer in moonglow Hates it and calls the whole of the fellowshiip evil...
