I downloaded and installed the MT-32 versions and now realise how much sound I was missing!

God I'm loving playing U7 again, it's 10 years since I played these games.

Ah right, thanks .. I probably would've gone hunting if it weren't for the amient sounds in the OGG packs, it's so long since I played this game I hadn't missed the other spot effects.

Since the 'effects' setting in the Audio setup is 'enabled' that too made me think all was well.

I installed Exult using the method described in section 2.3 of the documentation, having copied the BG and SI trees from the 'Collection' CD. I then downloaded and installed the .OGG digital sound packs and installed as per the documentation (not the README in the .ZIPs as the doc warns you not to)....

Okay thanks, I wasn't sure at what point in time Origin stopped fiddling with the releases.

Hi, I'm about to install Exult and wonder if there's any difference in terms of ease of installation if I use ether the "Complete Ultima 7" CD or the "Ultima Collection" CD. I have vague memories of reading there were differences between various releases of these games made by Or...
