Razimus, have you tried Ultima 6 Online ? It's a full duplicate of U6's single player as far as I can tell. You might want to check that out if you haven't as you might get some ideas from its successes and failures. The biggest problem with any conversion is that the original game has finite quests...

Keep an eye on the Changelog (on the Downloads page) to see what's happening. Releases are only announced when the devs are really sure most bugs have been squashed and it's as stable as possible. You can bypass Telekinesis by turning on Hackmover (first enable cheats, then hit F2, then change Hackmover to on). You can then move or activate anything onscreen regardless of barriers or the laws of physics.

The sounds and music are different because they are recorded from the Roland MT-32, whereas under DOSBox you're probably using SoundBlaster instead. You can find several Chaos Hierophants in the burned-out building near the bank (in turn near the Sleeping Bull Inn).

Each is able to give you the scroll and warp away and everything, so I'm fairly certain they will work just as well as the real one.

Caltrops are invisible on purpose, the idea being that you can walk over them before you spot them. There are some visible caltrops too, I think they're in Christopher's smithy or something like that.

I agree. Improving Exult 3D and merging it with the core codebase would also help with this goal, as more would probably want to design in 3D than 2D, and it would help demonstrate that Exult isn't just an engine for graphically outdated RPGs.

You can do this already, kinda. Just tell your companions to "leave" then "stay here", and you can do as you please. Not a perfect fix, but it does work.

If you leave them on the flying carpet you can even have more than seven with you at a time. :)

Oblivion's engine is definitely capable of scheduling. Heck, even Morrowind could do it (and has done it, thanks to modders). This time around they were evidently trying to get their Radiant AI to create a lifelike and dynamic feel, as evidenced by farmers actually farming without a preset schedule....

Sorry, what I mean is that they're both accessed through the same way incidentlaly, you don't need to do the one to do the other. If you look at the teleport map there's more than one shoreline. When you see the lightning screw up your gear what you don't see is that it also teleports you seamlessly...

Hm, looking very nice so far. About the innkeeper key reclaiming, do they somehow remove the key from your keyring if you put it on the keyring? If that's not possible/believable, perhaps you could have them get annoyed and fine the player for destroying the key. And then have them change the locks ...

I don't think that's a good idea. If a player moves/removes the plates the waitress will probably go crazy. In fact she may even run off to serve on the plates wherever they are, kinda like Batlin and his podium.

Yes, there's one bridge where trolls spawn, usually two at a time.

I can't recall where it is (somewhere near Minoc/Cove I think) but Shamino will say "watch out for bridge trolls!" when you approach it so you know you've found the right bridge.
