Huge map
If I wanted to make a gigantic game world, what's the best way to go about it? As I understand things, the size of the map is set in stone. There's just no good way to make a bigger one without buggering the engine. The only other way I can think of is to break the map into pieces and somehow move t...

Re: Using ES palette and I get glowing things
What I usually do is to export a frame, then I open it with PSP7 (hey--that's what I use--stop laughing!) The exported graphic has the main 256-color U7 palette embedded, so I just save the palette as a .PAL file. Then, when I make a new shape or whatever, I just apply the .PAL file to it before I s...

I doubt it. IIRC, we can't even legally use graphics from SI in BG unless a specific check is done ensure that both games are installed. I don't know of any way we could ensure that a legitimate SNES cartridge is owned.

Double-click on something edible. The cursor will turn into a crosshair. Put the crosshair on whomever you wish to feed, then single-click the mouse. Keep doing that until you run out of food or until everyone in the party says, "No thank you." You can also use the "F" hotkey to ...

Not nearly as large as I'd like it. I've always wanted to eventually attempt a series of maps remaking the BG world, enlarging each chunk by a factor of 9. In other words, each 3x3 group of chunks would represent one chunk from the current map. That would be a detailed and immersive land! (And you c...

You're seriously gonna hate my post-U1 Lands of Lord British map... I shrunk the continent by about 10% just so there'd be enough ocean to justify having ships. I flippantly brush aside all such inconsistencies as "cartographical errors" on the parts of the original mapmakers, even for the...

I think they said that the TFL mod already has the Keyring mod fully included, so yes, it should work in normal BG as well.
If you just want the Keyring and Serpent Isle Fixes mods (or the Avatar Pack), you can find them at http://www.seventowers.org/

Currently, as I understand it, The Feudal Lands is in a pre-alpha state with no in-game way from one map to the next, so you'll have to CTRL-ALT-T to map teleport to TFL. Do we have any information on the ages of the Avatar's Companions? Not their chronological ages--they're all over 200!--but their biological ages. Marzo's certainly correct, but I prefer to believe that it's an inside joke for linguists. Reed == Rood (cross/crucifixion image). Related to Latin "retae" ("tree growing near water"), from whence we get our word "rod". All linguists play Ultima, y'know.
