IIRC the moongates are broken in the Black Gate because magic is broken. Changing them back would be changing a major portion of the game.

I would suggest, if you're trying to just start a new game anyway, completely uninstall both U7 and Exult. Then reinstall U7, then Exult, and start a new game with completely clean files. It's possible (though I don't know how likely myself) that some of the files got corrupted in your save director...

In this case wouldn't it be "relatively easy"* to test this by creating a test NPC with a schedule similar to what you've described?

I haven't used Windows 98 since about 2000, Win 2K since about 2003, Win XP in about 2 years and I never touched Vista... I tend to be a little bleeding edge with my OS though. It's possible that there are a few people out there still using 2000 as their primary OS, but I wouldn't expect it to be mo...

I take it back... the batch filter WOULD be useful. I decided to ignore the fact that you're trying to do ALL the graphics in U6 when I responded before. So maybe the advanced batch filter program would help.

If you do a search on google for the programs listed, most of them can be found. The only ones I couldn't find were scalerx.exe and the batchfilter program. I did find an "Advanced Batch Filter" program... but it's kinda pointless. To use the hq4x program you just have to open up a command...

I haven't tried it, but you could check out the "Usecode recompiler / decompiler" at the Utilities and Patches section of bootstrike.com. Just scroll about 1/2 way down, its the 3rd one.

Somewhat off-topic but...
I was reading through an Ultima wiki and I found a link to this: DSx86
It DOS on a DS! The compatibility guide says that U3-6 and UW1 are all playable and a few others are "partially playable". Thought I'd share. :)

@Elvito Are you trying to play it fullscreen only, or are you okay with windowed? I personally prefer windowed over fullscreen but everyone's different.
