I'm getting a pimped out 486 computer soon so I will have the original ultima 7 if anyone wants me to check something for them.
Ok so it's not a huge help but I'm doing my best

Cool, yea, I've got a dedicated 486 I made up for old dos games too. Sweet stuff. It's pretty overkill what I put in it, but it does the job.

Or I could just load up vmware on my 2nd monitor and play it that way. No sound though. If anyone got sound working in vmware under dos 6.22, let me know how.

I've been using U7run on win98 to check the original. When I first started work on Exult a few years ago, that wasn't available, and that's why there were so many features done wrong (like not stopping the game when gumps were up).

That´s perfect. People using the original to compare it with Exult in order to find differences with it. The main goal is to make Exult as good as the original and even better. Other features can be added ( new graphics, sound, cheating menu, PARTY FORMATION, and "Identify NPCs left-click" which the original doesn´t have are wonderful) but without forgiving the excellent things that the original actually has but are not implemented on Exult yet, like combat issues or stealing and killing-the-innocent behaviours. You´re very near now Exult team. Keep on working! [;-))

Just wondering how could I be sarcastic using my awful english. At least it seems like an improvement to it. No, I weren´t being sarcastic at all; why do you think that? Because I actually like "party formation"? I were trying to thank you for your helping offer with your 486. I have a 486 for my old games too and I´ve played U7 on it dozens of times (I´m not exaggerating) That´s why I remember the original nearly perfect and can compare it with Exult to find bugs or possible features. I want to apologize if you feel offended anyway Broken Fusion!... I must develop my english a little then.
