Hi. Has anyone started to code in usecode? If so, what editor do you use to program in usecode. I would very much like to create a game with Exult Studio, but I need to know how to use usecode. Are there any tutorials or documentation around on that subject?
Thank you very much!

Re: Usecode
The main example is the "island patch" on our download site. The language could change, especially if people start using it and making suggestions.

/me laughs
that's the reverse of "the Chicken and the Egg"!
In this case, if you use it, it changes! Now that's encouraging to create new games!

Re: Usecode
No no, it changes when you want and/or need it to change
Re: Usecode
I've been working with it off and on (im really quite lazy), I've also been working on a program to help with the usecode process but I've been getting half way through a program then think of a better way to do it and start over (the lazyness really doesn't help here either).
Re: Usecode
Damn, we had a link in the studio docs to a site that tried to give more infos on usecode... where has that gone...
/me searches through his exult related mail...
ha, found it: http://www.sophen.de/exult/ Pertex wrote all that
Also Jeffrey Hoeksma, who helped me out with a lot of Studio docs has begun writing some usecode docs as well (I think). But I haven't heard from him in a while but neither did he hear from me in a while
Anyway a good way to get help or make suggestions would be the mailing list exult-general@lists.sourceforge.net
