GIFs on the Exult website

There are two GIFs on the Exult website:

Why aren't you using the patent-free PNG format instead?
Is it because the images become slightly bigger when converted to PNG format?

Hm, looks like Fingolfin missed those two when converting everything to .png

There are specific reasons why the logo wont be converted PNG (blame Internet Explorer). Back though, probably just forgotton. Fingolfin just changed all the screenshots AFAIK.
