Crash while sleeping

Grrr, I installed Exult today, and while playing about and wondering how well it works, it crashed using a bed in Britains Castle. I played from Trinsic to Britain, and now I'm little frustated, cause I didnt save the Game.

Save early and save often...

Are you using 1.0 or a 1.1 snapshot? Also, doesn't Exult occasionally autosave in the "Quick Save" save game slot?

Exult doesn't autosave (yet?). Might be an idea...

As long as it doesn't autosave just after you die, like Wasteland did to me:-(

But seriously, a useful feature would be to have Exult make autosaves whenever certain flags get set in the game. With a default savegame name. Of course this is for the distant future when someone decides to add a lot more features...
If I remember I'll put it into the feature tracker...

should be configurable too since the zaurus would mind having 30 Mb of savegames!
