Silly question about 'the game'
For some reason the thought just hit me, in the French and Spanish versions on BG, does Chuckles properly follow the rules of 'the game'?
I don't know what brought that on...

Re: Silly question about 'the game'
Do you know the rules of the game? I am not to break the rules right now! Man, the game is fun. I sit down and play the game with my friends all the time. Oh what a game it is!

Just because you seem to be having trouble using it doesn't mean it sucks...

Re: Silly question about 'the game'
About the original topic...
I have the spanish pack of U7 BG, U7 SI and U8. If I remember well, Chuckles didn't play the game well... It seems the translators didn't actually know the rules of the game, so they just translated the text without having in account the amount of syllables in each word... for example, I remember that if you lose the game, Chuckles says something like "Thou dost not know the rules of the game, thou hast best learned it"... "rules" in spanish = "reglas" (2 syllables); "learn" = "aprender" (3 syllables), etc. Therefore, in spanish, the Chuckles' game didn't make any sense, it was a trial and error puzzle.

Re: Silly question about 'the game'
I wonder if it would be doable to patch the usecode so that it would make proper sense. Should be interesting

Re: Silly question about 'the game'
Why not change the game for those from Spain to be a game that is not lame with three parts to words, not one? For sure there is a type of game which keeps some rule that will not make those who made the game look as fools.
A thing I must ask.

Post Script: You know, I never did know the game - it was trial and err for me too. Then Doug the bird spoilt my brain gaps with rays of light and now I can not miss right for the light.
