In case there weren't enough choices, I added the "Scale2X" scaler by Andrea Mazzoleni into the 1.1x code last night. This is a non-blurring algorithm, so it keeps the crispness of the original for those that prefer that. It's also really fast.

Does Scale2X have a homepage? (like Derek Liauw's 2xSaI)
I'm asking because other projects might be interested in this scaler.
