Chest in bg
Hey guys...i cant seem to find the treasure chest thats supposed to be south of trinsic..where you first start the game. I remember when i played the game again a year ago i found the chest. I was using moslo then...could this be an exult bug??
Re: Chest in bg

Re: Chest in bg
i forgot to mention: i've found this chest in exult several times, so i don't
expect this to be an exult issue. but who knows..?

Re: Chest in bg
thnks...the search didnt really turn up much..like i said i have seen the chest b4. But hey...i dont think its an exult error too but who knows. Maybe its because i am using the 400X resolution?? heh i really luv the higher resolution. That was one of the faults in u7...limited by teknology no doubt. You barely have time to shoot off a spell b4 the enemies are on you in the original reso.
Re: Chest in bg
One more thing though...i can get into the dragon cave(despise?) right away if i want to. Or rescue the baby from the gargoyles. Or the unicorn cave...any bugs if i do these early?
Re: Chest in bg
Just outside the south exit of Trinsic walk through the clearing west until it turns, and then go south to the beach. The chest is behind a tree just to the north-east of that.
Re: Chest in bg
hooo mann. guess what...i used the object delete cheat and found it. heh...got so frustrated. But at least it was there.
Re: Chest in bg
You can do the dragon cave, or rescue the baby, or whatever you want, whenever you want.
Sure the main plot is a little linear, but, for most of the game, you can do whatever you want in what order you feel like.
Those things mentioned have no bearing on the main plot whatsoever.
Heck, you can go to hook's hideout straight away as soon as you leave trinsic and then go to the isle of the avatar with his key.
