Difference between MT-32 and normal Sound pack?
What is the difference? I take it both work with a normal soundcard so which one is the best?
Re: Difference between MT-32 and normal Sound pack?
From the documentation:
"Joseph Morris recorded the original SoundBlaster sfx and Simon Quinn recorded the Roland MT32 sfx"
This means that Joseph recorded the sfx in the original, using a Soundblaster soundcard. And Simon recorded the sfx in the original, using a Roland MT32.
As for which one is the best , you have to find that out yourself. Personally I find both packs lacking and only a good mixture of them sounds good. I have made my own pack which uses a mixture of Josef's recordings and some sounds not from the original. search the forum for sound pack.
