Hi,
I read the documentation on the gumps and all, but I can't pause the game. In the original, whenever a character screen was opened the game would pause. Is there a way to do that in Exult? Thanks!

In the Game Options menu there should be an option that toggles if gumps pause or not.

i saw that, but i tried clicking both to enabled, and it still didn't work. do i have to quit the game and then restart after changing the settings?

No, you shouldn't. I also throught that 'pause' was the default option. Is it possible you have a fairly old version?

it could be. i downloaded one of the first things i found on this site, but it may be an older version? i'll try looking for the newest one. thanks for all the help!

hi all. another quick question about pausing the game and all. i downloaded a more recent version of exult (1.1 i think), and while it lets me pause the game, it does not allow me to steal like in the original game. any suggestions?

I don't believe any version of Exult allows you to steal like the orginal version. I think the FAQ talks about it somewhere...
