hmm, not that special, eh?
in SI, if you teleport arround you will see many chunks who dont fit in the enviroment, thats the cause why there are no ships, so the player can only move there where the designer want them (teleports, etc.)

Yeah, SI has alot of those little "extra" map pieces just floating around. It seems kind of sloppy to me, but you can't go there without cheating, so I guess it's OK.
