Crash talking to Finnigan in Trinsic

I tried searching the boards for something on this, but didn't find anything. My game runs beautifully until I talk to Finnigan, the mayor of Trinsic after playing detective in town. I answer all his questions about the murder, and right after he says that I should go to Britain to go after the man with the hook, the game crashes back to windows.

I'm running XP Pro, any suggestions?

No, and I went through that part just before the release. If you'll submit a bug report with a savegame just before you talk to him, I'll try to duplicate it.

Hmm... strange. I would encounter the crash all the time, even after I restarted the entire game from scratch, but after I rebooted, the problem disappeared.

I'd just like to say that this is some great work you've all done on this. I can't believe how good this game looks with the exult engine. Ultima 7 was the first CRPG that I ever played (which was both a blessing and a curse) and since then, nothing has surpassed it in my mind (BG2:ToB was better in some ways, but sorely lacking in others compared to U7). I'm looking forward to playing through The Black Gate and Serpent Isle once more, and I'd like to thank you for making this possible.
