I can't get inside the Tetrahedron!

I have the encanted ring, and I got to the Tetrahedron... but I can't get in!
Please don't tell me that I have to restart the game... (OK just tell me... if it's the only solution)

Did you put ON the ring?

Remember, in Black Gate you can not wear rings and gauntlets at the same time. You you must remove your gauntlets, and equip the ring

I hae it on two computes. On has the full Ultima 7 collection with a RC2 exult and the other only has plain vinilla Ultima 7 (no FoV) and the latest snapshot

that reminds me, you might get into trouble if you use the sf-island patch with the BG-without-FoV version.
Now come on, download an irc client and get on to #exult. much easier to discuss these kinds of things
