getting it. (U7 that is...)

It took me a while to find a copy of U7 for sale. And at that I havn't gotten it in the mail yet. Here is what I found out while looking, hoping that it will help someone else out that might be looking.

- Ultima collection.
Amazon.com and a few other sites boast this in the used section. But they are for sale by collectors and priced as such. The price range I saw at amazon was 39.99 to 99.99 (of varing condition) for the collection. 40 bucks aint to bad as compared to a modern game, but it kinda makes you want to kick yourself for leaving it in the bargan bin you walked by umpteen times a year or two ago.

- Ultima 9 Dragon Edition.
Cool, I thought, I got that. Nope, mine was the regular edition. no collection CD included. This also was a bit pricy at about 90$. Guess I shouldn't have passed it up when it came out. Actulay I don't feel too bad about not having spent even more on u9 than I did. 'nuff said.

- The complete Ultima 7
For me this was the Bingo. (or at least it will be once it arrives.) 9 bucks. Less than 15 even with shipping. Another one I shoulda snaged outta the cheap bin when I had the chance.

A note on Amazon. I was able to find stuff on the amazon using google that amazon's own site didn't find. So I guess, try that if you need to.

Getting harder to find U7. With any luck it will end up on the back of UX or some new collection soon. Maybe packaged with exult....

I wonder why Origin doesn't still sell it, or perhaps include it with UO.

And $39 for the Ultima Collection? I wonder what my "2nd Ultima Trilogy (4-6)" box would go for (and for which I paid something like $12 about 4 years ago)...

I remember buying my Ultima Collection for like $10 a few years ago, I hunted around bargain bins and finally found it!

I got it for $9.99 Canadian at Electronics Botique

That I got mostly for Ultima 1, 2, 5, and 6 which I didnt have before.
I have the original Ultima 4 (the box still is pretty good condition too) and if you fire up my old Comodore the disks still work too, amazingly
