Making items float in the air

I accidentally found a way to make certain items float in the air in Serpent Isle. Take a crate from Cellia the furrier in Monitor that contains two large fur pelts. Lay the crate down in an open area, then take out the two pelts and stack them on the crate. At first you have to stack them so that the center is on the crate, but then you can take the second pelt and place it so that only an edge of it overlaps the lower pelt. Now remove the crate. The lower pelt drops to the floor/ground like it should, but the upper one stays at the same height.
