Hi Guys,
My brother and I were huge fans of Ultima 7 growing up. Over the past couple of years we were discussing how great it was to play the game and to discover every detail about it. We talked about our experiences and agreed that it was almost a shame that we couldn't start the game over, having forgotten how some of the quests worked out.
Flash forward to the recent future. For Christmas, my brother gave me a USB key with a modifications that included tying up some loose ends (finding the crown of the lich king, redoing some dungeon maps, etc.)
I was running Exult on my MacBook with OS Sierra, but never was able to get the Keyring Mod, which is required to run my brother's custom add-on. I was wondering if there might be someone with experience getting the add-on up and running correctly. Can you please let me know if I can help? I'm trying to avoid buying another laptop specifically to run this game (though I will, if need be). If the keyring mod doesn't work with the Mac OS, is it compatible with the latest version of Windows?
Thanks,
Phil

Re: OSX
It works fine on OS X. The instructions are the same on OS X as on Windows:
http://exult.info/docs.php#mods_install
Just make sure you are running the latest snapshot of Exult and not an ancient version

Re: OSX
I'm surprised your brother didn't make it into its own mod. Maybe it's a patch to the mod?

Re: OSX
I just tested and fixed this mod, so hopefully your brother emails it over to you soon.
