Tetra-what now?

Ok, im having a bizarre problem, ive been following the walkthroughs to BG pretty closely, i made it to deceit with my magic little ring thingy and I fought the big monster in the tetrahedron generator and destroyed the generator, but when i get out, i see no small tetrahedron. Ive tried killing the monster like three times and there is no small tetrahedron in the room. my party members are even like "hey dont forget the tetrahedron" and Im like "WHERE IS THE TETRAHEDRON??"... this kinda crap always happens to me in ultima.. anyone have this problem?

oh yeah i forgot to say what specs i have, im running exult 1.1beta3 on windowsXP, using BG and forge of virtue.

It should appear on the ground at your feet when you exit. It can be hard to spot. Can't help if it's an actual bug rather than the hard to spot problem.

I remember not being able to find it the first time I played the original U7. It blends in really well with the floor
