enabling map editor
Attempting to enable the map editor (ctrl+alt+m) in-game, I get a system error stating that libatk-1.0-0.dll is missing from the computer. I see the tiles and can move things around, but don't actually get any of the ES menus. Any ideas on how to remedy? Thanks.
Re: enabling map editor
Can you reinstall both Exult and Exult Studio from the latest snapshots? And when it still doesn't work, please tell us what system you are on.

Re: enabling map editor
Thanks Dominus, uninstalled and then reinstalled both for the third time and it appears to be working now! Running under Windows 7. It may be that I didn't fully remove all components during one of the uninstalls.
That leads me to my second question...
I can see that you can add book shape files, but can you change the contents of them?

Re: enabling map editor
To add contents to books you need to delve into USECODE. You need to add the content there and point the book at the appropriate function... I think, never worked with books. But you can look at our sourcecode, in the contents subfolders the mods do have additional books.

Re: enabling map editor
So basically it would be the same process as creating new or modifying existing conversations with NPCs?
Re: enabling map editor
Yes, I might be mistaken, though
