I just compiled the source under Slackware 9.1 and when I try to start a new game in both SI and BG it goes thru a whole list of NPC #--- not used errors then gives a segmentation fault. Anyone know the root of this problem and how to go about resolving?

NPC #--- not used are normal messages; they don't indicate errors.

Ok so... regardless when I start SI it crashes and I've tried a variety of options... I can't find stderr.txt and stdout.txt but I'm assuming they show just what is shown on the screen when I run it... which is just the normal startup stuff.. after the last NPC message there is a Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed) msg...
