How can i dowload new version

I have tried dowload the new Exult version with no succes, i download a file "exult-1.1.9rc1.tar" but it didnt work.
Also how can i use the music files "U7MusicOGG_1of2" and "U7MusicOGG_2of2" and which one i shalll extract in where

1. What OS are you using?
2. the file named with .tar is the source. Source means source code, the stuff that would first need to be run through another program(s) so you can actually run it. What you want is one of the binaries.
3. We have binaries for Windows, Fedora (a Linux), Mac OS X, and Zaurus. Download the appropiate.

I have Windows Xp i dowload the file ".tar" but the winzip send me an error

You downloaded the wrong file. You need the one called

Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP) Binary (Fixed Sound)

as I wrote earlier, download the one that says "Windows (95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP) Binary (Fixed Sound)" (the very correct link name) and not the source. You can delete the tar file.
