SI Plot Stopper? Pothos and the Blood Moss

Hi
Not sure if I'm "bugged" or if I skipped something. After the dinner with the mage council, Pothos sent me off to find the Blood Moss from the swamps south of Moonshade, which I did. But now I can't discuss it with him anymore or give the Blood Moss to him.
This means he won't tell me how to reach the Mad Mage. I tried ringing the bell anyhow, but the turtle never comes.
I also recall one of the party is supposed to be magically abducted by Rotolucia, but this has yet to happen, despite how long I hang around in town...
Any ideas?

Can you send me a savegame of when you can't give the blood moss to Pothos?

Sure can. I'll fire it off when I get home from work in about an hour. I'm not to familiar with the game files, should I just zip up all the *.sav files in the \exult\serpent\ directory?

Hm, no, that's a bit much

Save the game in any non-quicksave slot. When you then select that slot, Exult should tell you the filename the savegame is using in the info box to the right.

Have you talked to Bucia about Pothos yet? She has to tell you he's the son of the Mad Mage before you can trade information with him.

Yes, that was actually the problem. I had done this, but I think I got busted stealing something and had to reload to prior to the conversation
Pothos did ask that I got find the stuff, so I figured I was good to go.
Anyways, thanks for the help WJP
