Mac OS X

Post by Adrian Powici »

Am trying to install Exult in OS X after previously using it on a windows machine.

Have copied the installed U7 files onto the Mac, but always get the message "exult has unexpectly terminated" as soon as I run it.

Is this likely a problem with where the CFG file is pointing to the Static dir? If so does anyone know how you use this on a Mac as Im not familiar with the file structure, how would you write C:\applications\exult\U7\Static on a mac?

If it isnt a static location problem what is it?

You shouldn't point Exult to the static dir, but rather to the Ultima 7 directory itself (which contains the static dir)

"C:\" is a dos/windows-ism. There's no such thing in MacOSX. Maybe you meant "/applications/exult/U7"?

This sounds interesting... I have the "ULTIMA7" dir, and the "Exult" dir....

What do I have to do to point ot to the Ultima7 directory?
