In Ultima 6 there was a simple way to go in and out of solo mode. In U7, you have to speak with every party member and tell them to leave, and then have them all join again.
Is there any possibility of seeing a solo mode feature in Exult?
It would certainly help with things like stealing, the tetrahedron generator, and energy fields.

Re: Solo mode
Jupp, that's a good idea. Solo mode would sometimes be very useful. Make it just like U6 style, with other characters beside the avatar simply being unable of starting conversations, or even just having an Avatar-only solo mode would still be an improvement.
Talking about energy fields... a party line-up formation with every character following the exact same steps as the avatar would often come in handy too. Would keep them from dumb-ass like marching into fire and poison fields.

Re: Solo mode
This is a great idea! Solo mode would be a great time saver.
Another idea, though this would probably be a little more tricky to implement, would be to be able to select party members in a manner similar to Baldur's Gate (ie. drag a selection box around the party members you want to control). This might change the 'feel' of the game a bit too much though...
