Exult Mac OS X Probs

Just switched to a Mac and am having a couple of problems getting exult back up.

I have got Black Gate working as suggested in the documention by copying the static folder into Exult, does this mean that I can only install either BG or SI at anyone time or can I merge both static folders?

Also cant get the SFX packs to work, put the file in the data folder but exult doesnt pick it up, the MAC OSX version doesnt seem to have a CFG to alter to tell it where the file is.

Can any help with these 2?
