Actually, there is a more-than-even chance that Nastassia died during the Fellowship uprising (the events of UW2). The manual mentioned that Nastassia came out of
her slump and became some sort of civic leader of Cove (I'll dig out the documents
in a moment, I can't find my UW/UW2 CD, and they're on there in PDF format).
And at one point, the Guardian makes sure to tell the Avatar that his forces are
closing in on Cove. If the Guardian knew about Nastassia, he would most certainly
have had his troops kill her.
Also, is Draxinusom in U9 (I never got out of Britian, I hated the game so much).
A cutscene in UW2 suggests that he might have been killed...
Regarding Nastassia...

Re: Regarding Nastassia...
I don't think it was ever properly explained whether the Gaurdian was yanking your chains in UW2 or if he actually had a force in Brittania. I'm inclined to think that he was just making it up to get at the Avatar.
Incidently, Draxinusom doesn't make an appearence in U9 - so you could be right... though he was pretty old in U7... could've died of old age...

Re: Regarding Nastassia...
UW2 manual says that Nastassia lead the cleaning up of lock lake crusade. not really that much of a civic leader, just wanted to get the crap out of the lake

Having never played UW2, I don't really know about Draxinusom. But I
remember reading somewhere that he died honourable in UW2, redeeming
himself (in U7 BG he was pretty much a bum... ).
Of course, LB can always resurrect him. (personally though, I don't like to
see ppl/ggl resurrected if they die due to plot devices, cuz then death
is really meaningless. I mean, so let's create a new game where both Mondain and Minax got resurrected, salveged parts of Exudos and build Exudos XP and come back to take over Britannia..... Durpe's ressurection in U9 makes his death in SI very immaterial "Yeah, I'm tired. I'll just go die here and rejoin you guys after LB resurrects me in 200 years. See you later!").

Re: Regarding Nastassia...
actually, dupre really was resurrected when you cleansed all the shrines in U9. kind of dumb, really. exactly as you said: "I'm tired. I think I'll take a 200 year nap of sorts, cuz once the Avatar meditates at all the shrines, I'm gonna come back."

Draxunisom a bum....? He was the town leader in U7BG...
He's pretty old by then, though (even refers to himself as such)
