Insulting U7 fans? I did nothing until u harassed me because i dl games from the internet. The way i see it is it doesn't concern u where i get the games. But instead dom and others see it entertaining to harass me beacuse of that. and also because i used to use this forum as a help forum for my games.

Thanks..

Yes, it does concern us where you get the games. If you're using Exult to play games you obtained illegally, we strongly disapprove of that.

As I see it, Dominus was rather patient providing accurate answers to all of your Ultima-related questions, but you should accept the fact that there is a limit to what should be discussed here, especially since there are discussion forums in place for other projects, like DosBox.

You should also note that your behaviour here has often been inappropriate if not rude. You keep using different names and actually try to pretend being someone else, you repeatedly brought up the subject of downloading Ultima from abandonware sites, even after people told you that that isn't desired here, and you are flooding the forum with new topics. There's nothing to be said against some ultima-smalltalk, but you are pushing it. It doesn't have to be in 6 different threads.

In short, you are lying to us while disregarding warnings and yet seem to be trying very hard to be "accepted" here.

There is no need to be "accepted" though. Just be polite and people will be polite to you. Follow the rules, cut the crap and people will probably help you.

Btw. I'm not a member of the Exult team, just a fan and frequent visitor to the forum, so I'm talking for myself.

If I'm not wrong, if the Exult members are seen to endorse illegal downloading of games, then the project is liable to get shut down, jeopardising many years' work.

This is work that is greatly appreciated by a lot of people and no doubt something of great pride for the creators, so its loss is far from desirable. They're only protecting their community & work! :)

And google is often better than any human is answering your questions. I love google. Google is my friend.

I really tried to be patient with you, even contacted you on your email to ask you privately to cut the nonsense (I wish I hadn't deleted the posts from you in which you really insulted other members of this baord and kept them as proof). Talking to you on AIM seemed to work for a short while (couple of days), I even told you I'd close my eyes to your illegal download if you behaved yourself and then you began again spamming the forum (not to mention your forwarded hoax mail to me).
If you go through your posts again, I am giving you at times detailed information what to do and you just ignored it and asked again the same thing (see the nuvie config question or how to browse the web efficiently). I told you to stop spamming the board (I even explained to you what that means) and you just kept on doing it.
The whole situation was always in your own control and you blew it every few days.

If you're going to encourage illegal activity in these forums, you're fortunate the mods have been so patient with you.

These bad pyramide like emails. Didn't read it thoroughly even though I got it twice from you. Not an hoax mail but similar, don't know the right name of them.

@eternal light:

What about reading the Board rules?
5. Be nice to each other. No flaming please.
Compare this with Your statements:
You know u guys are Jerks. [...] Ur condesending idiots.
Or, for example:
6. No excessive spamming (this is a message board and not Iolo - you can't cheat here :-))
Can someone walk me through configuring DosBox so UU1 will work thanks. [...] hey UU1 has something to do with exult it is connected with the same time frame. as when the black gate was made, and destroyed. The same with UU2.
Besides, You're not paying attention to the regular etiquette, which You should on all occassions (not only in the internet, by the way). Actually, I don't understand at all why You have not yet been completely banned by the forum admins. This is not a general Ultima support forum. This is not a forum to use swear words in. And this certainly is not a forum to ask for help with pirated software. You are telling people here they are afraid of criticism, but I made the experience that most of the people in this forum are very reasonable and open-minded. So I think it is You who is afraid of criticism. Which of the points that were criticized on You in this forum have You ever aggreed to?

If you have Ultima question look for a general Ultima forum, or one of the Dragons patient enough to answer your questions :-)
