Vasc turns into a wolf when he wakes up from coffin in Skull

I'm using the newest version of Exult, when i got into Skullcrusher im suppose to hear the Serpent say something right? I dont get any of that...
and then when i fight Vasc, he changes into a timberwolf and then i kill him and i dont get a key...

I have a save game...

Wow! I guess Vasculio got tired of being a vampire and changed himself into a werewolf.
