Zulith not following

I'm playing Exult's SI, and am stuck in Fawn. Although I've killed the assassin, and talked to the guard captain about it, (and several people about other things) Zulith isn't following me. He should be, by this point, should he not? I've asked him for an audience with Yelenda, but he still refuses to follow me. Anyone else have this problem/a cure?

I would always catch him following me in the house in the NE corner of town.

If you're using the Beta, get the latest snapshot. You're seeing the same bug as the 'hound not appearing' problem.

I tried this, then reloaded from before entering fawn, right after taking back the tower from the goblins. That didn't work. Zulith still won't follow me. Maybe I'm not being patient? He walks pretty slowly, and it might take him awhile to start following? Also, how long after you kill the pirate is Jendon supposed to come up to you? Or can that only occur after Zulith follows you? Because Jendon hasn't come up to me either... Maybe I should entirely restart the game? *UGH... I already did silver seed...*

As far as I know, he's not supposed to follow you, like, tagging along. You'll just notice him in odd places, when you visit different buildings and such. Thats what I remember, anyhow. I never remembered him trailing constantly behind me.
