Bug making Boydon in SI?

Hello all, I feel like an idiot here. I'm playing SI using Exult and having a blast, but now I'm on te Mad Mages isle and trying to create boydon and I put all the peices in and nothing happens. I read several SI reviews and it says to place a head, a torso, arm, forearm, and 2 legs into the funnel, and then the phoenix egg. I get the sound effect on each item but even after I toss in the egg, nothing happens. Is this an Exult big, or am I doing something else wrong with the order or something?

I can't speak for Exult bugs, but make sure all the pieces you toss in are dead and not moving, aside from the head of course.

Hack move the machine and make sure that all the parts and the egg actually went into the machine, and not behind it.

Not using any of the moving peices parts. When I put each peice in I know if it actualy made it because the machine grinds a moment and I get a sound effect. I'm 150% stumped. I've tried previous saves, every bodypart in almost every order. Hmmm, can't figure this out at all.

Any other thoughts?

Blah. All I had to do was stand BEHIND the machine. I guess I was blocking Boydon from appearing. Sometimes I'm convinced I'm 99.9% idiot.

I seem to be having this same problem. I hack moved the machine and got the parts that fell behind it, but when I put the last ones in and the egg (the torso and leg fell behind) nothing happens.

same problem here. Worst thing is I saved after putting the parts in. All the pieces went in, and I'm not blocking him from coming out. God i'm pissed that I saved it hehe
