Lost items

I seem to have lost my orb of the moons (sounds like a newb move, but I've played the DOS version many times and haven't lost anything like this) and was wondering if there's a way to get it back. I know in the DOS version you could create items (785-orb of the moons) but is there any way to do the same thing in exult? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm very far into my play through and at the point where I must use it.

If you install Exult Studio than you certainly can...
but it takes a bit of work, not much, since this site explains the basics of Studio pretty well.
I thought the old DOS cheats still worked with Exult though.

Ctrl-b to enter shape browser, go to the item and hit insert.

Is there any sane reason why Exult doesn't implement all of the cheats the original version had?
