Hi there,
I am not really sure if it's a bug, that's why I am posting it here.
I am using the latest version of Exult and I just can't seem to get past the fireball trap in dungeon Shame (the dungeon right above britain's castle).
After flipping the lever I think the trap should deactivate, and you should be able to move further east, without being teleported back into the fireball trap.
But the lever does nothing, the trap remains active and you keep getting teleported back into the trap.
Am I missing something here or is it a bug?

What are the exact coordinates of the lever (use the teleport cheat and the F2 cheat screen to get the coordinates)?

Cast destroy trap on each side of the monolith (touching it) and that should kill the traps.

It's not the trap I'm worried about.
The teleporter further east should disable at the same time. Right now you can't enter the rest of the dungeon without cheating.

Do you mean the telport egg, just after the second magic locked door to the east? This egg only triggers once. This is just how the original does it, too.
Seemingly the lever does nothing, at least it neither disabled the trap nor the teleport egg, after the second magic locked door, in the original FoV played in Dosbox (thanks for the coordinates, much easier to pinpoint ).
I found that we are doing the fire/explosion traps wrong, though. The trap is triggered much earlier but fires shorter in the original. see the screenshot of both the original and Exult. The Avatar stands at the point the trap triggers.

The teleporter only works once? Aaah... So that is the way to get past it.
I hate getting old. I am starting to forget things. >_>
