Some of us know that many of the Ultima denizens were based in part on the SCA friends of Lord British, or even upon his own personal characters. The 'Real' Iolo, Don Iolo Fitzowen was sometimes known as "Master Moo" because his lady and he would moo at each other, for some reason.
Just ran across a song about Don Iolo, a balding, silly bard, crossbow maker, and rapier master... sounded familiar.
Finally found out why Iolo sometimes "moos"

Re: Finally found out why Iolo sometimes "moos"
I'm not certain I know how a human being moos, exactly... Link to a soundfile, perchance?
I mean, I can say "Moooo-o-o-o-o-oooo," but I'm not really sure that would be it. I did once visit a farm and actually saw a cow from 15 feet away...it chose just that moment to take a leak, and it was like watching a water spigot opened up wide open under pressure, I kid you not... The image was indelibly stamped into memory...!
