Selling to Shop Keepers

So I was playing this earlier today and realized none of the shop keepers buy armor and weapons. You can sell jewels to the jeweler, poisons to the alchemist, and I forget what else, but not weapons and armor. Or food for that matter. Is it possible to add in this ability to the already existing shop keepers? It'd probably be fairly simple to add. Just like the sell links for jewels and such. The seller says "I'll buy that from you for (price)." and you say Yes or No. The item is then destroyed or deleted and money added to the avatar's backpack. Just have shop keepers buy it for 1/3rd the selling price. That way looting corpses is actually worth looting them.

This will be included in my U6 mod as it was in the original u6 game

yeah, there you have it, someone would then only need to extract this code from the U6 mod and adapt it to U7

now I havent played 7 in ages but in Serpent Isle I know you could sell armor to the blacksmith and the leather worker. They would say how it looked like you found it in the trash (even if you just bought it from them) but they would offer a price and you could haggle.

course this was original cd version of the game that came with a floppy disk with the silver seed addon. Dont know if it translated to exult

You can only haggle about what you want to buy, not for how much you're willing to sell it.
