Scratch that chest - blew it up with a cannon. empty apparently.

Maybe the blast disintigrated the contents of the chest.

Where is the key?!!!!!!! Is it possible that this specific key simply doesn´t exist? ARRRRGH!! It can´t be! I´ve opened all things that could be opened in the world of BG except for that door.
And for the chest that you mention, Gileatane Dragon, it should be opened without blowing it up with your cannon ( little drastic ), because I opened it too... It´s only that I don´t remember where was the key to do it...

The key to the pirate chest is what I mentioned above. It's in the bag in the hut.

As for the jewler's key, I'm sure I've had it somewhere before.

Never found that bag - until now.
Everytime I think I've seen it all, theres more - ta MV.
Chest was empty SB-X - I've searched my ass off looking for Sean the Jeweller's key. Aint on him, isnt in his house.

Then again, who cares about the jewler's key? It only would bag you 3 gold bars. Plenty of those elsewhere.

Exactly!! It´s an "own-pride matter" ( or whatever are called these things in english ). Or a quest to search for the Perfection if you prefer... Well, whenever somebody knows about that key, he/she could post it right here; I will be waiting... and searching again for it myself...

Hmm, I remember that I used to think I had to go down the chimney santa-style to get in the "starter room."

"The computer (glowing box), in the pirate's house in SI?"
My god, this still haunts me! It was a small mini-quest in the game. This so-called "pirate" is actually a software pirate! :D LOL It's hard to do, I forgot which npc it was that was the software pirate. I'll post it when I find out. (which means probably never :P)

He had a 5 1/4" floppy on his shoulder, canon printers with 5 reams a piece positioned at every window port, and would shout "ARRGG!" when he realised there is no electricity, or that the canons worked on usb only.

Still makes me smile.

About the stairway at the "starting point". Actually, as you'll notice, the Avatar
is teleported twice. Just off the coast there are two identical strips of land.
One is where the party members get zapped (you get teleported but don't
realize it) the other is where you get zapped. This was apparently done so
that you couldn't save items by throwing them down on the ground. But as
far as I know, if you can find a way to get out to those strips of land, you CAN
keep your items from the beginning.

>Did you find the pirate ship in the middle of the ocean in u7BG?

*jumps up in down in glee* I'm not crazy - someone else saw it!! :D Unfortunately, I only saw it the once :/ I don't suppose you thought of taking coordinates where you saw it? I always meant to get the ship deeds from that isle n of Jhelom and see if it was one of them, so I could 'borrow' it (hehe). But I never have been able to find it again *sigh*
