exult.cfg and Linux

Hi there,

I installed Exult under Linux Suse 8.0 with ./config, make and make install. It worked fine. when I start exult, it says "cannot find datafiles of ...". So my problem is: where to install my running version of U7 (right now on a windows partition), where to put the exult.cfg file and how to set the path in this file.

I hope someone can help!

Thanx an CU

Ogx

exult.cfg goes in your home directory
the instructions for configuring it are in the Documentation linked above
U7 goes where exult.cfg says it is

The file is named ~/.exult.cfg in Linux, btw. Exult should've autogenerated a (very) basic one when you first launch it.

Thanks!

the Problem was the hidden file in the ~/ directory. The .exult directory was not there, but I made it and copied the files.

Thanks again. Now I can play the lovely game...
