I hope time-stopping with open gumps to be better with 1.1x

I´m now using Exult 1.0x in order to find bugs to fix for the 1.00 so I haven´t tried the 1.1x yet. My question is: how the time-stopping option with open gumps works? Because I consider it very important and in the 1.0x this option doesn´t exist; in the 1.0x all the people continue moving with gumps open, and even the enemies come towards you with the worst intentions. It´s odd that they only stop moving when they´re about to strike you. It´s not a very good way to do it. But it´s supposed that time can be actually (completely) stopped in the 1.1x. How it works?

In the 1.1 branch, time stops when gumps are opened. Once gumps are closed it continues. It's just like in the original, really.

I believe 'time-stopping' is optional, though. I'll have to check.

I'm pretty sure the option is in the gameplay menu.
