I finished SI but I'm not getting the quotes option in the menu.

I did left the credit roll to the end - that's odd.

Which version are you using? With 1.0 (under Linux, not tried Win32 yet) I've had no problems with credits/quotes.

As far as I remember, you don't get the quotes when you've
finished the game, but when you have proved the "patience"
of watching the whole credits.
This should work with BG as well.

I have the 1.1 branch

I´ve the 1.1x branch too and it works for me. Be sure to leave the credit roll to the end without using mouse or keyboard until the SI menu displays again.

In the original you can add the empty file "quotes.flg" to the game directory to get the Quotes option to appear in the menu. If that doesn't work try it in the static directory (but I see that I have one in the BG game directory).

With Exult you create the quotes.flg in the savegame directory
