I´m gonna buy a new PC and I would like to know if Exult will work on a Pentium 4. Can someone tell me something about that??. There are lots of programs that doesn´t work with this processor. Is Exult one of these programs?? (I would buy an AMD processor instead if Exult doesn´t work with the P4 (ehhhh...Does it works with an AMD processor??? ) )
By the way, I´m spanish, I have read the FAQ and... yes!! there´s a spanish version of Ultima 7 BG, Ultima 7 SI and Ultima 8 (the exansions for these games weren´t edited here and the Ultima 9 isn´t translated). I´m not sure about what I have read in the FAQ... Can Exult be used with the spanish version of U7 BG and U7 SI??? Is there any known problem with it??
And please, if you have any question about spanish versions feel free to ask me. I´ll try to help...

Exult has no problems running on Intel or AMD processors.
Exult is supposed to work with the Spanish U7 but it may not in some cases and if you stumble over such, please report them here and our bug tracker.

What programs don't work with the p4?

Macintosh programs....

For example, a lot a console emulators don´t work directly on a P4, they need a patch. Last versions solve the problem but there´s a big quantity of other programs that aren´t upgraded so oftenly (or never...)
And YES!! Mac programs don´t work on a pentium!!! jejeje

Hi Jesus! I´m spanish like you (don´t ask me where Moonlightshadow is; es una laaarga historia...) [:-D)

You always could purchase Ultima Collection on eBay as I did and then you´ll have the expansions. Yes, Exult will work with spanish U7 but face it:
-Spanish Serpent Isle is 1.02 version and not 1.02s5 Final Version (there´s no patch for this)
-Spanish Ultima 8 is 2.10 version and not 2.12. I´m not sure if the Origin official patch will work on the spanish version. But even worse:

There´s something that I need to confirm now and forever: Has anybody noticed that spanish Ultima 8 CAN´T BE FINISHED due to a bug somewhere in the usecode?! I tried 5 different originals of spanish Pagan and the bug appears in all of them. The bug is that when Devon is supposed to give you the key to open the chest where the Tear of the Seas is (after confirming him as the real ruler of Tenebrae) he repeats an older speech which isn´t related to the new situation so...

He will never give you the key...
You will never be able to unlock the chest...
You will never have the Tear of the Seas...
You will never finish the game...

Please, if somebody feels able to say me: "NO! YOU´RE MISTAKEN! IT WORKS FOR ME!" I beg him to do it because I´m beginning to suspect that nobody has ever finished spanish Ultima8. Thanks

Well, i haven´t finished the spanish version of ultima 8, so i can´t confirm you if the bug is there. I think that very few people finished it, it isn´t so good such as U7 BG and U7 SI.
And well, if you ask me so politely i wont ask you where Moonlightshadow is... Aunque siempre es weno conocer a otro "friki" del ultima...
