I have no idea whether this should be considered a bug, and whether it is Exult-related.

I just finished SI using Exult and noticed that if on Sunrise Isle you put several of the cubes of ice and fire on the altar, the pyramid won't construct properly. Only one or two steps will appear, and the teleporter won't appear at all.

If only one cube is put on the altar at a time, no problems occur.

I am using an older 1.1 snapshot. If necessary, I will upload a saved game.

I noticed the same thing. In fact, after placing the cubes, the steps appear and red waves move outward from them. If you place the next cube before the waves disappear, the next step will not appear. You have to place the cubes one at a time and wait for the waves to disappear.
