Hey, first - thank you SO much. U7 and U7p2 are my favorite games EVER. And I figure I can say thanks by letting you know of any problems and whatnot.

I started playing SI the other day, and... well, I just started and Shamino needed, so I greased a pikemen. Everything was hunky dory... nobody complained (it was that one in the blacksmith's in Monitor), but now, anytime I go into Combat Mode, the Avatar just starts wailing on Shamino.

Shamino doesn't fight back or anything. He just stands there and lets me whomp on him. I tried kicking him out of the party and letting him back in - didn't help. I tried killing him and then let a pikeman kill me, so I'd be resurrected by the monks - didn't help.

Haven't tried this in BG.

He's probably so disillusioned by your Virtueless behavior that he resigned himself to watching you kill him! "What's the point if the Avatar has abandoned the Virtues!", he'd say. And Iolo would probably cry. Dupre would just drink himself into oblivion - wait, he does that anyway.
